I believe the best images happen when people don’t have to pretend. That is why I work calmly, attentively and with genuine interest in the people I photograph. It matters to me to create an atmosphere in which trust can grow – because that is exactly where personality and authenticity reveal themselves on their own.
For me, good photography begins long before I press the shutter. It begins with observing. With listening. With an open eye for people, their work and what makes them unique. Every encounter is different – and that is exactly what makes my work so special to me.
Alongside this closeness to people, my eye for design shapes my photography. I pay attention to light, composition and the mood of a space. I am as interested in clear lines as in small gestures, quiet moments and the atmosphere an image can carry. The result: photographs that are crafted with care and still feel natural – timeless rather than fleeting.
After a shoot I often come home with new energy. Not only because beautiful images were created, but because I got to meet people who do their work with passion and bring their own story with them. These encounters inspire me again and again – and that is exactly why I love what I do.
